Josh Bowden
Dr. Bowden joined Winthrop Veterinary Clinic in 2010 after a full time swine position in Missouri. Josh graduated from Iowa State with his Bachelors in Ag Systems Technology, Masters in Preventive Medicine, and Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bowden enjoys spending time with his family and supporting his kids in sports. In his free time (he doesn't have much) he enjoys using an antique printing press, going to Old Threshers, antique tractors, and farming.

Tessa Kohl
Dr. Tessa joined the Winthrop Veterinary Clinic in 2025 after interning at the clinic since 2018. She is originally from Center Point - Urbana and currently lives in Walker. She graduated from Iowa State University with her Bachelors in Animal Science, Masters in Biomedical Science, and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Tessa enjoys CrossFit, hiking, snowboarding, fishing, and doing all things outdoors. She loves taking her hot girls everywhere (her german shepherds Nikita and Java).

Whitney Holt
Whitney was welcomed on in 2015. Whitney's roles include office manager, large animal technician, and artificial insemination technician. Whitney graduated from Iowa State University in 2012 with her Bachelors in Animal Science and Livestock Management Degree. She grew up on a commercial cow/calf operation near Brandon, Iowa. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running to ALL of her kids activities, being on her farm with all of her animals (there's a lot), and being outdoors and traveling.

Cindy Gentz
Cindy was brought on in 2024. She has become an accounts specialist and customer service representative. Cindy has three children and five grandchildren. She has lived in this area her whole life living on a farm and contract growing hogs with her husband. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, camping, fishing, and reading. If she has other free time (rarely) her first stop will be in Mexico on a beach.

Dr. Schulte joined Winthrop Veterinary Clinic in 2015. He is originally from Norway, Iowa. Blake went to Iowa State for his Bachelors of Dairy Science and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Blake enjoys spending time with his family and friends. You can find him often times at dairy shows. Please do not get him started on if his jerseys are the best....​

Madeline Moen
Dr. Maddie joined the Winthrop Vet Clinic team in June of 2025 after graduating from Iowa State University with her Bachelors in Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degrees. You may have seen her around, as she also has been an intern since 2018. Maddie is originally from Vinton, Iowa and currently resides in the Center Point area with her boyfriend Kyle. In her free time she enjoys being social with friends, finding the next local concert, Alaska fishing trips, and cheering on the Cyclones!

Erin Monahan
Erin started at Winthrop Vet Clinic in 2023. Since then, Erin has become an accounts receivable specialist, customer services representative, and health paper expert. She is known for her organization and friendly approach at the front desk typically with an alani drink! Erin graduated from Northeast Iowa Community College in 2022 with her associate bachelor degree. She has lived on a farm her whole life in Manchester. Outside of the clinic, Erin enjoys spending time with friends and family, getting rowdy at country concerts, and being outdoors.
